"Mainly a self taught artist, Chris Lytle began honing his artistic abilities as a young child. Even then he was meticulous about staying within the lines with his crayons. His attention to detail has carried over into his adult life as an artist. After school he chose to put art aside to pursue a more “practical” career. However, years passed and he has decided to revisit his creative roots. He has experimented with different media; although not limited to, he has found that he loves working with charcoal. His work is astoundingly realistic, often being mistaken as photographs. He also enjoys working in acrylics.

He is currently living outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania."
